This item does not perform as advertised!:
This product does not work as advertised. The only way I can get this product to shine is to hold the light source at the same height as my eyes. The problem here is that the lights on a vehicle are not at the same level as the driver's eyes, but substantially lower! The driver will not see the reflective qualities of this jacket with this light-to-eye difference! If you are truly interested in being seen after dark, invest in some reflective 3M products, such as vests or velcro straps, along with a blinking light! Don't be fooled into thinking this product will make you more visible after dark! In fact, with the dark fabric colors of this item, you would be better off with a light colored jacket with no reflective properties than this!
Runs Small:
I purchased this item for my husband who normally wears an XL. Since I planned on him wearing it for his evening walks, I thought a XXL would work because he usually layers clothes on. The XXL was snug with just a t-shirt on. Never made it outside to see if it really was reflective, but I was disappointed it was too small.
